Since its establishment in 1998, Tuck's Shop of Wood has consistently crafted handmade items for over 25 years, combining timeless craftsmanship with a passion for producing unique and exceptional treasures. Witnessing the unfortunate wastage of beautiful wood being burnt or underutilized, he became driven to unlock the hidden potential within these precious resources. Tuck firmly believed that Oregon's bountiful hardwoods held the promise of creating extraordinary objects.

Embarking on his woodcraft career, Tuck's initial foray involved fashioning breathtaking manzanita lamps of unparalleled shapes and styles. With each creation, his affinity for crafting extraordinary and unconventional pieces only grew stronger.

Every piece of wood used by Tuck's Shop of Wood is locally sourced, stemming from fallen or discarded trees, stumps, or wood resulting from expansion and development. The array of local hardwoods, such as manzanita, maple, oak, walnut, madrone, ash, and locus, boasts incredible colors and mesmerizing grain patterns.
